The biggest and most important way we would love for any of you to be involved is by supporting us through prayer. 

Current prayer requests:

+ Endurance: We are in a major state of CHAOS in our home. Lots and lots and LOTS to do and figure out before baby is born. The lists are long. We are weary. We need energy.

+Financial Provision: This adoption is expensive. We need to fully finance it out of pocket. We are trusting the Lord to provide us with the finances we need to bring our baby home. He has already given us signs of His faithfulness in this area, but we do not have all that we need yet. We are pursuing all avenues of saving and earning extra income as well as fundraising. Please visit our fundraising page and BE a piece of our puzzle! We know God will provide, and we are so excited to see him move mountains for us in this area.

+ Balance: This request is for Travis and I in particular. It is VERY hard not to get swept up in everything that we need to do. We could commit every minute of every day to accomplishing another task on the list. We cannot do that. Not only is it unhealthy for us but it is unhealthy for our kids. They need our energy, our love, our attention, our security and our consistency as we move into a stage of change that will GREATLY affect their lives. We want to make sure that we are not missing out on all of the other gifts in our lives because we have tunnel vision.

+Wisdom: We are having to make A LOT of decisions. All of these decisions will affect our family greatly. We are trying our hardest to make the best decisions we can, but we do not always have the answers. We need clarity and direction in seeing what God would have us choose each step of the way. His ways are better than ours.

+ Our Birth Mom and Baby: We still can't believe we now know who they are. We are SO honored and SO humbled that God had brought them into our lives. Our love for them runs deeper than we could have ever known it would. Please pray for them. Pray as we do for their safety and health throughout the remainder of this pregnancy. Pray that the Lord would be teaching us how we can love them well. We long to know and nurture their hearts the best we can. Nothing in this journey is more important to us than these relationships the Lord has brought us through it.

Our next greatest need in our adoption journey is financial support.

Adoption is very expensive. We share about why that is in our blog post: Adoption and Finances - How much and why? We are doing what we can to earn extra income and adjust our lifestyle as a family in order to save as much as we can to complete our adoption process. However, the bottom line is, as a one-income family of four {soon to be five} living in Los Angeles, we just cannot afford the total amount it takes to get from A to Z and bring our child home.

We are SO ready to bring our baby home! Legally, mentally, emotionally, spiritually we are ready! But financially we cannot. We are trusting that God will provide all that we need in order to complete our adoption through whatever means He deems best for us.

We believe that one of the ways God may choose to bless us may be through the financial help and support of you who are going on this journey with us.
