I wanted to take a moment to say Happy Mother’s Day to the women in my life who I am blessed to call “Mom” in some capacity. I have been blessed to have “moms” beyond the wonderful woman who gave birth to me. All of these women have invested in me and poured into my life in ways I cannot begin to explain.
Becoming a mother myself has revealed to me so much of the love, sacrifice, service and commitment these women have given to me. It is a beautiful and amazing gift that every year I grow a deeper and deeper gratitude to have received. Motherhood is not for the faint of heart and these women have handled the job with incredible grace, patience, selflessness and love.

We just returned home from a week in San Diego with my wonderful family. We enjoyed a week of sunshine, good food, walks to the beach, bike rides, birthday celebrating, relaxing, and just being together. We rented a house through Airbnb that was just a couple blocks off the ocean {I mean who can complain about that?}.
I love my family, so any time we get together is precious to me. It really was an amazing week.
