We just returned home from a week in San Diego with my wonderful family. We enjoyed a week of sunshine, good food, walks to the beach, bike rides, birthday celebrating, relaxing, and just being together. We rented a house through Airbnb that was just a couple blocks off the ocean {I mean who can complain about that?}.
I love my family, so any time we get together is precious to me. It really was an amazing week.

This year we are blessed to celebrate one of the most beautiful days of the year, Easter, with family in San Diego.
Today is the day we celebrate our Saviour Jesus Christ is alive. He died for our sins, but death could not hold Him. He is risen! Hallelujah!
I pray you all know and understand the beauty, power and freedom we have because of this day. It’s such an underserved gift that I find myself taking for granted too often. Praise God for His forgiveness! So thankful for His saving grace.

Today our firstborn turns three! I won’t dwell on how I can’t believe it or how time passes too quickly or how it seems like yesterday we were meeting him for the first time; those things will just make me cry. Instead, I want to celebrate that our big boy is three! I want to celebrate who he is today, all the things he can do, and that {by God’s grace} we survived our first three years of parenting!
